MedRAG is a multi-tenant medical knowledge retrieval service. It provides a REST API and MCP server for retrieval-augmented generation over healthcare datasets.
Built for healthcare organizations that need fast, accurate semantic search across clinical guidelines, research literature, and internal knowledge bases — with full tenant isolation and data sovereignty.
What MedRAG does
Who it is for
MedRAG is a building block for third-party medical software: EHRs, telemedicine platforms, clinical tools and AI-powered assistants that need a healthcare knowledge search they can query programmatically. Each customer (a tenant) gets its own knowledge bases, API keys and billing.
How we protect data
- Tenant isolation. Every request is authenticated, and one tenant's data can never appear in another's results.
- Encryption. Data is encrypted at rest, and all connections use TLS.
- PII redaction. Patient identifiers can be automatically redacted before embedding and storage.
- EU-only hosting. Everything runs on infrastructure in Germany. No data leaves the European Economic Area.
- Self-hosted AI. Embeddings and reranking run on our own servers, with no external AI APIs.
